The protection of personal data is an integral part of Artalia Invent's values. By using the website https://www.artalia-invent.com/ (the "Site"), users of the Site ("User(s)") acknowledge that they have read this privacy and data protection policy (the "Policy") which governs the processing and protection of personal data collected when using the Site, i.e. any information directly or indirectly identifying a person such as surname, first name, postal address, email address, customer number ("Data").

The party responsible for processing the Data transmitted via this Site is Artalia Invent, a simplified joint stock company with a single shareholder, registered with the Montpellier Trade and Companies Register under number 918 821 372, with an intra-community VAT number of FR93918821372, with a share capital of 1,008.00 euros, domiciled at 1 Place Christophe Colomb, 34000 Montpellier, whose Chairman is Mr Georges Liarokapis.

Article 1: Data collected and purpose of processing

Artalia Invent may collect Data as part of the contact form accessible by potential customers and potential partners. Artalia Invent processes all Data provided in the form, in particular the User's last name, first name and e-mail address.

Artalia Invent does not directly process connection data (IP addresses). Its subcontractor, Plausible Analytics, collects connection data and immediately anonymizes it. Thus, no personal data is stored by Plausible Analytics and no non-anonymized connection data is transmitted to Artalia Invent.

Artalia Invent and its subcontractor process this Data for the purpose of optimizing the experience of Users and for the purpose of communication with its commercial partners, prospects and customers.

The legal foundations on which Artalia Invent is based are :

  • For IP addresses: Artalia Invent has a legitimate interest in knowing the number of connections and new connections per IP address;
  • For contact forms: Users' consent.

Article 2: Data integrity

Artalia Invent implements technical and organizational security measures in accordance with best practices, particularly with regard to the security of its computer system. Artalia Invent endeavours to implement all necessary measures to preserve the confidentiality and security of User Data and to prevent it from being altered, damaged, destroyed or accessed by unauthorized third parties. In this respect, Artalia Invent ensures that its subcontractors provide the same technical and organizational security guarantees.

Article 3: User rights

In accordance with current regulations, the User has the following rights, subject to data retention periods and compelling legitimate reasons for processing Data on the part of Artalia Invent:

  • Right of access - to personal data processed by Artalia Invent and concerning the User;
  • Right of rectification - of inaccurate or incomplete Data ;
  • Right to deletion - in order to obtain the deletion of its Data;
  • Right to object - to the processing of certain Data ;
  • Right to portability - for the purpose of transmitting Data for potential re-use;
  • Right to information - on how Artalia Invent processes Data.

These rights may be exercised at any time by sending an e-mail to the following address: artalia.invent@gmail.com or a letter to Artalia Invent, 1 Place Christophe Colomb, 34000 Montpellier, France. All requests for access, rectification or opposition must be accompanied by a photocopy of a document proving the identity of the person making the request. These identity documents will be kept for 1 year for the exercise of rights of access and rectification and 3 years for the right of opposition. Artalia Invent undertakes to respond to all requests as quickly as possible.

Article 4: Recipients of Data

As part of the processing of User Data, Artalia Invent may transmit or provide access to Data for exclusively technical and logistical reasons, to the following categories of Data processors:

  • Development provider ATHOM ;
  • The website hosting and maintenance provider, WEBFLOW ;
  • The provider of the storage of the answers to the forms, AIRTABLE ;
  • The service provider responsible for processing responses to the forms, MAKE ;
  • The calendar management provider, CALENDLY;
  • The provider of the Plausible Analytics statistical analysis solution.

Data supplied by potential partners via the contact form may be passed on to customers or prospects for the purpose of establishing a relationship after obtaining the partner's consent.

Finally, Artalia Invent may be required to communicate such Data to third parties when such communication is required by law, regulation or judicial or administrative decision, or if such communication is necessary to ensure the protection and defence of its rights. Apart from these cases, the User's Data will not be transferred or made accessible to any third party, subject to any restructuring of Artalia Invent, including total or partial transfer of assets, merger, takeover, acquisition, demerger and more generally any reorganization operation.

Article 5: Transfer of Data outside the European Union

In the event that personal data is transferred to a country outside the European Union, we undertake to take the necessary technical and organizational measures to guarantee an adequate level of security for the Data as if it had remained within the European Union.

We require Data recipients to implement the measures required to ensure the same level of protection as that required by European regulations on personal data, for example by using the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or binding corporate rules (BCR).

Article 6: Shelf life

Artalia Invent retains Data for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected.

Artalia Invent may retain Data if its retention is reasonably necessary to comply with its legal obligations, satisfy regulatory requirements, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce this Policy.
